Privacy Policy
This page explains what Jerry's Appliance Repair ("we", "us") learns about you when you use jerrysappliancepros.com or book a repair, what happens to it afterward, and what you can ask us to change. It is written the way we would explain it on the phone.
1. What reaches us
Booking a visit, ringing the shop or sending the scheduling form gives us a name, the service address, a phone number, an email address and a description of the appliance, which normally means the make, the model number and what the machine is doing.
Card payments are handled by our payment provider at the time of service. Full card numbers never touch our own systems.
Our server keeps the usual web log: an IP address, a browser and device type, a referring page and the time of the visit. We look at it to keep the site working and to see which pages people actually read.
The booking form itself belongs to an outside scheduling service and is displayed inside our pages. Whatever you type into it travels to that provider so the appointment can be created, and their privacy practices apply to it as well as ours.
2. What we do with it
- Arrange, carry out and follow up an appliance repair.
- Reach you about the appointment: arrival windows, technician names, parts on order.
- Take payment and issue invoices and warranty records.
- Answer questions and settle warranty claims.
- See, in aggregate, which parts of the site and the service work well.
- Meet what tax, insurance and consumer law require of us.
3. Calls and texts
A mobile number given to us may be used to call or text about your appointment, including confirmations, arrival updates and news of a part on order. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP or tell the shop and the non-essential messages stop, although we will still need some way to reach you about a booking already in the diary.
4. Who else sees it
We do not sell personal information. It goes only to:
- Providers working on our behalf: the scheduling service, the payment processor, parts suppliers who need a shipping address, and the platforms we send email and text through.
- Our own technicians, who need the address and the appliance details to do the job.
- Public authorities, where the law requires disclosure.
- A buyer of the business, should it ever be sold, on the terms set out here.
5. Cookies
A small number of cookies handle essential functionality and basic analytics. Blocking or clearing them in your browser will not stop the site working; one or two conveniences go away.
6. How long it is kept
Service records, meaning the appliance details, the parts installed and the warranty dates, stay with us for as long as we need them to honor a warranty and satisfy tax and legal requirements. In practice that runs to several years. Marketing contact details come off the list as soon as you ask.
7. Keeping it safe
We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to what we hold. No system of transmission or storage is completely secure and we will not pretend otherwise.
8. What you can ask for
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to stop receiving marketing messages. Depending on where you live, state law may give you further rights. Write to service@jerrysappliancepros.com or call (561) 468-3140 and we will answer within a reasonable time.
9. Children
Our services are meant for adults and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
10. Other sites
We link out to manufacturer pages and other websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own.
11. Changes here
This page may be updated from time to time. The date at the top is the date of the most recent revision.

Any question about the above: call (561) 468-3140 or write to service@jerrysappliancepros.com.

Ring the shop and ask. A clause takes a minute to explain out loud, and that beats leaving anybody guessing.
